My ideal client wants to experience more connection in their lives. They want to feel more deeply connected to themselves as well as to the people they care about. However, this can feel really challenging at times, if not most of the time. We may feel overwhelmed often. We may struggle to relate with people in the way that we most want to. And we may be really hard on ourselves for it all. My ideal client wants to feel more possibility in their lives and to experience more capacity to navigate life’s challenges. They want to experience more compassion for themselves. Ultimately, they want to feel more ease in being who they are.
I can help explore what is in the way of what you most want for yourself. Using the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), I can support you in healing the dynamics underlying the issues of depression, anxiety, or relationship challenges. We will work together, somatically and cognitively, to shift the internal patterns that create suffering in your life.
Life can be extremely challenging at times. We can feel so alone in our pain, and we can feel lost as to what to do. I have been there myself, and I am here to walk alongside you on your journey towards feeling better. We all need support from one another. If you feel ready to be supported in feeling better, more whole, and more you, then please reach out.
Professional Experience:
I have an MA in Counseling Psychology from Meridian University. I am a NARM Master Therapist, having completed 3 levels of training in the NARM model through the Complex Trauma Training Center. I have been studying individual, ancestral, and collective trauma with Thomas Hübl since 2022.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a nature connection mentor for several years. During these years, I also participated in various communities of practice engaging in deep nature connection and cultural repair. I see our personal suffering and disconnection within the context of a larger fabric of broken culture.
I am a currently white-presenting bi-racial man, racialized as both Japanese and white, and I welcome working with people who are navigating bi-racial identity.
