I’m Laura Eliason; it’s a pleasure to meet you!
As a specialist in children’s and family therapy, I encourage you to find peace and purpose in your life. I work to help my clients find balance and improve relationships. Life is a journey, and my ambition is to help guide and coach your success, happiness and purpose. In this relationship, you are the captain of this ship, and I will help navigate and give you the tools you need to help you along your journey.
My approach is to help clients build resilience. I use many evidenced-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral, dialectical/mindfulness and play therapy. Each person is unique, and I structure my approach with that in mind.
Professional Experience
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University, I have worked with many families in crisis and know how to navigate those tumultuous situations. I enjoy seeing clients grow and learn the skills they need to be successful. I have years of experience as a wraparound intensive services (WiSe) therapist and supervisor. I have helped many clients and clinicians with families during the most difficult times in their lives.
