Latrelle Huff, LSWAIC

Hi, my name is Latrelle Huff. I know that searching for a therapist could be overwhelming or stressful. I understand how essential it is to find a therapist with whom you can connect and discuss things close to your heart. As a therapist, I like creating a safe environment where the client feels comfortable, valued, respected, and not judged, while supporting the client to reach their goals. Throughout the counseling process, I will provide support and guidance. I will empower you by providing the skills and resources to make it possible.

About me

I have worked in the mental health field for over ten years. I have provided clients with assistance in meeting their goals and establishing a positive outlook on life. I truly enjoy counseling and assisting those who have experienced a crisis, or hardship or are just in need of someone to talk to during a rough time in their lives. I have sought counseling for myself during different times in my life and I know how much it has helped me when I was battling with obstacles, a crisis, hardship, loneliness, and depression. I love to assist clients in meeting their goals and obtaining a better quality of life.

I counsel adults, individuals, and couples. I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices, such as person-centered, mindfulness, psychoeducation, exposure therapy, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. One counseling method I find beneficial is motivational interviewing, which helps to assist clients in making positive changes in their lives.
