Hi! My name is Klarissa Fellows (she/her). Finding a therapist that you really connect with is an important part of the therapeutic process. I aim to create a comfortable environment where you feel open to speaking freely, without judgment, while also working toward therapeutic goals. The therapy room (even through a computer) is a safe, adaptable, welcoming space for you to be heard and understood. I feel privileged to be part of your journey of growth, acceptance, change, and empowerment.
About me
I work with adolescents, adults, and couples to overcome difficult transitions and navigate life’s hurdles. I specialize in perinatal mental health, parenting children experiencing difficult behaviors, navigating relationship difficulties, and self-discovery. I utilize individual, couples, and family therapy to meet you where you are and explore tools that fit your needs.
My approach varies based on the individual or family I am working with. I utilize aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Attachment, and Family Systems. I will work with you to explore interventions that work well and fit your style.
Professional experience
I graduated from Portland State University with a Master of Social Work degree. I am a Licensed Social Work Associate with the state of Washington.
My previous experience includes child and family therapy where I connected with children involved in the foster care system and their caregivers, provided mental health support to families following parent separation and other major life changes, and support for couples experiencing relationship stressors.
I have worked with children in behavioral group home settings, with adult survivors of intimate partner violence, and with new parents navigating life after baby and the many changes this brings.
I aim to make therapy a positive experience, where you will learn new ways to bring more joy into your life. When you’re ready, give us a call.
